Auditions and Production team applications are NOW OPEN for our production of Shakespeare’s Henry IV at The Globe (bar) in Manhattan on February 2nd and 3rd, 2026.

The Vision

Henry IV is a coming-of-age story about two young people grappling with who they are and what they want — through the constant noise of a world who has it all figured out for them, if only they would just give in — out of the world they’re poised to inherit.

It’s a story about parental expectations and terrible influences and the choices you make that will cut off branches of your future forever.

It’s a story about storytelling: what narrative do you have to craft for yourself in order to make any sense of the person you’re becoming? Live up to the world’s expectations for you or tear them apart? Hal and Hotspur have to choose, and so do you.

To Audition

- Submit a self-tape and audition form by Wednesday, October 9th at 11:59 PM.
- For your self tape, you may read either one of the sides linked in the audition form, or a classical monologue of your choosing.
- Callbacks will be held October 11th–14th.

To Apply for the Production Team

- Submit a production team application form by Wednesday, October 9th at 11:59 PM.
- We may reach out for a short, informal interview between October 11th - 14th.

General

We will contact you about your audition and/or application via email by the end of the day on Saturday, October 18th.
Rehearsals will begin the week of October 19th and will be coordinated around your schedule.
